I developed this piece for the nation-wide protests on May 1, 2006 supporting immigrant rights. The massive protest by immigrant workers
and their supporters shook the political establishment of this country. While anti-immigrant politicians label immigrants as "a drain on society," and discuss repressive legislation
such as HR 4437, immigrant communities are organizing themselves to fight back. Immigrant workers contribute billions to the economy and receive few benefits in return.
One of the rallying calls of these mobilizations was full amnesty and dignity for the millions of undocumented workers presently in the United States.
This poster was printed in a run of 5,000 and distributed free to the community as a symbol of solidarity.

I originally developed this concept for the cover of Left Turn, a magazine that serves as a resource to grassroots movements by reporting on and analyzing local and global
struggles for justice. Left Turn is an all volunteer publication written by activists for activists.
