This poster is the second piece in a set produced with INCITE, Women of Color Against Violence. Immediately after 9-11, INCITE launched a national campaign to expose the motives behind the U.S. government's war in Iraq. The poster celebrates the anti-war and anti-imperialism work by women of color, who were calling for solidarity with third world women in the Middle East. In contrast to national cries to "Bring the Troops Home", we were calling for an end to U.S. Imperialism and violence against third world women and children.
