"We Resist Colonization"

This poster was the third piece developed for INCITE, Women of Color Against Violence. It is based on a photograph of a young Palestinian girl taken by Mizue Aizeki. The objective of the poster was to recognize that war and colonial violence impacted women disproportionately, leading to increased sexual and physical assaults, diminished human resources, and increased economic, social, and cultural burdens on women. The piece also celebrated the Palestinian people and the worldwide resistance to U.S.-led imperialism.
