Earth Day: Our Common Home

In 2020, I was thrilled to collaborate with Denis Hayes, founder of the first Earth Day in 1970. Together with my organization, the Center for Cultural Power, we commissioned a series of art works celebrating the 50th anniversary of Earth Day through the lens of BIPoC artists. I created two works for this collection that celebrate the beauty and resiliency of Mother Earth and draw the connections to racial justice.
