The Magic Touch

This wood panel is about the longing that many of us had in desiring human touch during a time of spatial separation. I was self-partnered during the pandemic, and I had to learn how to love myself and touch myself in ways where I could feel cared for. Throughout 2020, I learned to value the critical importance of physical touch, and that loving touch could come from my friends and family. I recognized how valuable and central it was for my mental and spiritual health.
