Centeotl Dios Del Maiz Study

This collage honors Centeotl, the God of Maiz (Corn), inspired by my first experience planting corn in Spring 2021 using the Zapatista’s “corn in resistance” seeds. Exploring the cultural and spiritual significance of maiz, I combined patternmaking, letters, and linoleum textures to create my first interpretation of the Maiz God, reflecting a blossoming relationship with corn.
