Cologne

This is a small etching that I created after spending some time in Cologne, Germany with a wonderful friend. In my travels throughout Italy in 2009, I connected with a German queer person who I would develop a pen pal relationship with. He eventually invited me to his city and we became close friends. Eventually he moved to the United States. Our friendship was the only time I developed a close relationship overseas and this work celebrates that.
