Flowers for the People

This print represents the small ways in which I create a loving and nurturing space for myself and my community in the age of pandemic. I’ve been a plant mama that mostly focuses on indoor green plants and food that I can grow, and I wasn’t really into flowers because they require very specific care. However, once I started to grow them, I came to appreciate the ways in which flowers bring joy and life into a space. I love gifting and receiving flowers from loved ones. I love looking at the flowers and feeling alive by their color and knowing that bees were hard at work pollinating them. I enjoy going to my local farmer's market and getting in-season, fresh flowers to create bouquets throughout my home.
