Harvesting

This piece is about the joy that I feel when I harvest crops in my garden. I especially love growing kale, collard greens and tomatoes, and I love walking outside in the morning to cut my greens and enjoy the beautiful roses and interact with the many little organisms that live in my garden. This piece is an experimental collage in which I'm using the open hand symbol to express the abundance of what Mama Earth gives me.
