How Can I Be Sure?

This oversize linoleum block was commissioned by the San Francisco Center for the Book, and reflects the multiple facets of my identity: a woman, an artist, a Latina, a daughter of migrants, an entrepreneur, an activist, etc. The title is based on one of my favorite songs from the 80’s band Tears for Fears, Pale Shelter:
