Iguana

This print is based on a drawing that I created for a large scale public art project that I did at the San Francisco Animal Care and Control Center. I developed nine animals that were turned into large scale sculptures that hung from three areas in the pet shelter. I spent a lot of time talking to the staff at the pet shelter to understand the animals they care for, and the iguana was one of them. I really enjoyed working on this iguana because I got to learn about these amazing reptiles and also enjoy the beauty of their colorful bodies.
