Infinite Kiss II

Infinite Kiss is a series that celebrates the beauty of intimate moments, capturing the charged emotions just before sex. While my work typically features single-character portraits, this series delves into the expression of romance between two people. I focused on the electric moment of a passionate kiss, infusing the characters with an '80s vibe.

The masculine figure on the left is designed to be gender-fluid, while the femme character on the right is shown in a loving embrace, with her breasts purposefully facing the viewer—a nod to my ongoing celebration of tits. Creating the body hair in this piece was particularly enjoyable; I shaped it to resemble tiny, animated creatures, evoking the excitement and mirroring the movement of sperm.

The curly hair on both characters adds another layer of texture, reminiscent of a galaxy, with some variations even incorporating rock-like textures. Hair, in my work, is a canvas for exaggerating shapes and textures, allowing the characters’ personalities to shine through and adding a dynamic quality to the piece. This work was inspired by my collaboration with Bridge HIV, a global leader in HIV prevention research, working closely with Bay Area and international communities to discover effective strategies for combating HIV. Together, we designed an art-based campaign educating people of all genders about injectable PrEP —a medication that protects from HIV.
