Love Fluidity
2013 was a year in which I was highly experimenting with monotypes using both analog and digital tools. From 2011 - 2013, I was printing monotypes at various studios throughout the Bay Area and in artist-in-residency programs. I rapidly began to build up a library of monotype textures that I would remix and assemble with digital tools.
Love Fluidity is a digital collage that incorporated the monotypes and abstract shapes that I was creating during my analog print sessions. This piece is about my own desire to explore all types of love and not be limited by what mainstream society defines as a "relationship." It was a reflection of my own sexual and emotional exploration during my mid 30s.
