Portrait of the Artist in Tucson 4
I created this small print edition during a visit to Tucson, Arizona where I was leading art workshops with local community members, activists and fellow artists. The linoleum block print is a portrait of myself during a time where I was feeling lonely and unloved. Although I was incredibly busy traveling and successfully living my art dream, I was involved in relationships that drained my energy and did not replenish my soul. In this portrait, I am dignified, yet sitting with sadness.
