Shake the Disease

This piece is part of a suite of experimental monotypes printed at Mullowney Studios in San Francisco, CA. Throughout 2013, I was growing more comfortable with my unique approach to monotypes, experimenting with varied approaches to ink layering, brayer sizes, stencils, and found materials.

This body of work incorporates my signature color palette of yellow, orange, and turquoise. The piece is named after the song, "Shake the Disease," by one of my favorite 80's bands, Depeche Mode.
