Study For Zap Mama & Antibalas

I created this piece for a music tour between two legendary music groups, Zap Mama and Antibalas. This linoleum block depicts an inspired musician playing her instruments and dancing joyfully. The figure is a portrait of Zap Mama in the middle of one of her fabulous dance moves, with a microphone in one hand and bongos in the other. This is a derivative of the original print which was printed in red and black on white paper.
