Breathing Through the Trigger
This work represents its title. It's about my ability to self regulate my emotions and not be reactive, but instead to be responsive in my own healing work. I have grown better at understanding my triggers and my boundaries. Thanks to therapy, somatic healing and plant medicine, I now have language and tools to manage the range of my emotions. I really love the color combination in this piece because the green and the red matched so well together, and the black outline allows the whole piece to pop.
