Bunny Girl in Mushroom Garden 1

This print is one in a small suite of prints about my mushroom journeys. In my work with plant medicine, I go into other worlds where I feel a deep connection to nature and animals. Especially when I do mushrooms I have beautiful hallucinations where I feel a part of all that is life. In this series, I wanted to show a character that was related to a rabbit. I depicted a character who is in a luscious field of plants and flowers. The character has the body of a bunny and she is smelling the flowers in the colorful environment. The colors of the character are bright and psychedelic, as a reference to the full rainbow spectrum that I see when I’m ingesting plant medicine.

It was a really great exercise for me to create these works because I rarely create fantastical creatures in natural environments like this.
